#Beatbox
Beatbox (or "multivocalism") consists of imitating musical instruments (mainly "bass drum" and "snare drum" sounds) by using only the voice. It is a cappella song (without instrument) and gives the sensation of hearing a polyphony. The first drum machines appeared on the East Coast of the United States in the 70s, a few years after the birth of the Hip Hop cultural movement. The imitation of these drum machines appears shortly after, named Human Beatbox. There are now many championships of this discipline gathering all the biggest beatboxers.
